Career Transitions, LLC is working with a client located in the South Bend, IN area who is seeking to hire 2 Plant Superintendents to join their automotive OEM operations for the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Reporting to the Plant Manager, these newly created positions are full-time, direct hire & offers an excellent benefits package!
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Plans, manages, directs and coordinates the overall production operation while ensuring that a safe working environment is maintained at all times in accordance with company, state, and federal policies. Manages Production Supervisors and staff for assigned shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Ensures manufactured/assembled components are processed in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
Continuously analyzes manufacturing process/programs and takes a positive approach to develop and implement improvements in productivity and quality.
Participates in annual budget, capital and strategic planning by providing information on manufacturing related requirements and capabilities.
Performs full range of managerial duties for employees supervised including coaching/counseling, hiring, terminating, and employee development.
Manages the production of quality product; constantly improves processes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
3
years of management experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Experience developing short and long-range management plans.
Experience managing large groups of people (80+).
Solid knowledge and experience in Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
Plastics or automotive experience a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
