Seeking qualified candidates for a Light Industrial Assembler in Mishawaka, IN for a large company.
Perform the following routine duties:
Safely perform all assigned jobs.
Perform work consistent with written procedures, drawings, diagrams, samples, models, photographs, or oral instructions. Frequently receive and follow verbal instructions from supervisor. Perform good workmanship to provide a high quality product.
Utilize established tracking systems required to meet requirements of FDA, GMP, ISO etc., such as Device History File Database.
Maintain tools, materials and work area in a neat and orderly manner.
Unpack finished goods or perform rework activities on material returned for rework or inspection due to recall of other unforeseen circumstances.
Use various hand tools and automatic fixtures to perform sub assembly or final assembly of components and complete final assembly of instrument.
As required, perform all line functions as replacement for absent Microlet 2 Support.
Clean and lubricate jigs and fixtures during various phases of the assembly.
Report production, labor, and instrument order tracking by the use of the Bar Code Data Input System.
Maintain housekeeping at work stations, including machines, tables, equipment, benches, racks, etc.
Follow all applicable procedures that pertain to current operations.
Adhere to OSHA, GMP and ISO guidelines.
Operate material handling equipment as required to facilitate flow of product within department and to storage area for new released products.
When required, stamp shippers with necessary case codes or labels. Apply labels -- verify information is correct.
Tear down and repack skids as necessary.
Remove scrap from drop zones and machine areas.
Perform assigned job functions in a manner that meets or exceeds specified quality standards and required productivity metrics for the job assigned.
Assembles all necessary materials and manually packs or uses automatic packing equipment to pack finished products into cartons (will be the overflow packaging operation for the plant.)
Perform other related duties as required.
Hrs: 10:30pm-7:00amEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
