Our client, located in Mishawaka, is looking for (2) Quality Engineers for 6
month contract positions.
Responsibilities:
QE?s will be responsible for supplier and our clients manufacturing quality.

Manufacturing Quality control includes:
o Product quality standards
o Process risk assessment and mitigation
o Special characteristics and control Plans
Supplier Quality includes:
o Advanced Product Quality Plan (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
o Appearance approvals and reference standards
o Dimensional measurement strategy and plans
o Supplier on-going capability reviews
o Non-conforming material resolution

Problem Solving includes:

o Problem Resolution Reports (PRR) for supplier non-conformances
o Manage containment to permanent resolution for supplier and engineering non-conformances
o Track and report supplier performance metrics
o Support and perform Practical Problem Solving and Lean Six-Sigma problem solving
Engineering change includes:
o Product engineering change requests and justification (PRTS)
o Engineering try out and production trial run review and approval
Experience/Sills Required:
o 5
years Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Supplier experience in an engineering or quality engineering role.
o Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), GD&T, fixturing, gaging and measurement system analysis
o Experience with CAD preferably UG Teamcenter, SAP
o Proficient in all MS Office applications
o BS in Engineering or technical degree
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
