Description:

Performs duties of Sterile Processing Technician and forms an effective working relationship with other departments to ensure quality of care for patients.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES


Education:
High School diploma required.


Licensure:
Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST or CBSPD) is required.



Experience:
Minimum one year working in a Sterile Processing environment within a hospital setting.


Other Job Requirements:


Basic computer skills and good customer service skills.


Math skills, attention to detail, and ability to perform physical work.


Knowledge of proper handling of clean, sterile and contaminated supplies and equipment is required.


Intermediate Excel skills are required.


Assigned hours within your shift, starting time, or days of work are subject to change based on departmental and/or organizational needs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
