Principle Duties &
Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, manage, and improve facility infrastructure including but not limited to building structures (expansions or modifications), lighting, fire systems, electrical distribution, compressed air, natural gas, storm sewer, sanitary sewer (wastewater), parking lots and roadways, roofing, and USTs.
Provide troubleshooting and technical support for skilled trades.
Assist Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance with new product integration and launch as applicable to facility concerns.
Assist in developing, issuing and recording PMs involving facility aspects.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, insurance, and other industry standards/requirements (e.
g.
NFPA, EPA, OSHA, NEC).
Provide technical support to the maintenance engineering staff, skilled trades, and supervisors.
Perform emergency response duties and provide after-hours support for maintenance, security, and emergencies.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree required in mechanical engineering or related discipline preferred 2-5 years' experience working in facilities maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Requires a high level of organizational skills, initiative, accurate verbal and written communication, ability to work independently, problem-solving, and leadership.
WORKING CONDITIONSThis job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routine uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and copy, fax and scanning machines.
Employee must be able to perform job functions with appropriate intermittent relief where applicable under these conditions.
