We are looking for a high energy, self-directed and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our growing team.
The IT Support Technician position will report directly to the IT Manager.
We are looking for a support technician to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems.
The IT Support Technician will answer basic queries on basic technical issues and offer timely advice for issue resolution.
The IT Support Technician team member must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution.
A perfect candidate must also be customer-oriented and patient with other team members.
Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel Provide accurate information on IT products or services Record events and problems and their resolution in logs Follow-up and update user's status and information Provide feedback or suggestions by team members to the appropriate the IT Manager Proactively identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures Requirements Verifiable and proven experience as a Support Technician.
Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues Excellent communication skills Customer-oriented and cool-tempered BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent work experience.
