As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and motivated individual to join our Service Team as a full-time Field Service Technician.
This is a traveling position and requires weekly domestic and some international travel, with the average field time ranging between 90-140 nights out per year.

Field Service Technician Requirements:
A high school diploma or higher education Mechanically minded with strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills Employees will need a valid driver's license and live within driving distance of Laidig Systems in Mishawaka, IN Ability to travel weekly Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited to:
Performing routine preventative maintenance.
Troubleshooting and repairing material conveying equipment including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
Filling out a checklist and explaining equipment operation and potential issues to equipment owners/operators.
Filling out detailed weekly follow up and expense reports.
The Field Service Technician position is geared toward mechanically minded candidates that should be familiar withorwilling to learn the following:
Strong troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve problems Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule Familiar with industrial jobsites Electrical controls Hydraulic systems Strong organizational abilities Strong interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Computer skills (E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel) Laidig offers a generous benefit package including:
